‘We awaken from the depths of winter, from our deep sleep….. We feel our bodies stretch, turn, blossom as the days start to hint towards a brighter time, we seek connection to nature and each other. This short film captures moments of the main character as he reflects on memories as he awakens out of his hibernation; he slowly feels himself opening up. We see light and dark, melancholy and optimism as we follow him as he blossoms into spring tentatively, gently linking himself to his surroundings.’
This editorial aims to portray a subtly, romantic illustration of how we reflect and awaken as Spring arrives. We capture Oli in a thoughtful state, showing clips of everyday life and the beauty of just living. Shot in Alexandra Palace, London, we have conveyed a sense of dream-like environment yet there is a slightly edgy mood. – by Anna Currie
