A minimal, sleek design meets high performance.
Following the success of their first co-branded capsule, presented last June, Damir Doma and Lotto unveil their second collaboration – an extensive lineup of about 100 pieces, tapping into both the sportswear and athleisure worlds. Designed for both men’s and women’s, the collection reflects Damir Doma’s graphic aesthetic approach and sophisticated color sensibility, which are projected into the Lotto signature dynamic and athletic sphere.
A new, creative use of the logo defines the collection.
The traditional logo bands, which usually run down the legs and arms of sporty garments, here wrap around tracksuits, joggers and leggings. The signature Lotto logo is also magnified to create geometric patterns on color blocked hoodies and jersey T-shirts and is deconstructed on long sleeved crewneck tops. In addition, multiple logos are embroidered in different colors on cotton piquet polo shirts and T-shirts with graphic hems, while reflective logos pup up on the back of oversized unisex windbreakers.
While the men’s range is mainly focused on a combination of more relaxed and fitted silhouettes, the women’s offering reveals ergonomic shapes, – enhanced by the technical mesh inserts of sports bras and tights, – and cropped cuts.
The collection’s color palette is focused on graphic combinations of military green, purple haze, black and off-white, with pops of powder blue and lilac for men and purple and dark red for women. A range of sporty shoes completes the offering. They include tennis sneakers with a lived-in effect, as well as the new Brazil Select DD, a pair of destroyed vintage soccer styles embellished with a hand-stitched Lotto logo.
The Lotto / Damir Doma Fall/Winter 2018 will be on sale at Damir Doma showrooms in Milan and Paris starting from January. In conjunction with the 93rd edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, a video showing the collection has been screened on Jan. 9 at the high-end Florentine boutique -PN\P.
