‘GIRA IN TESTA’ is a song that speaks of complicity.
The same one that gives meaning to what flows on us. A confrontation between the mind and its distractions. A tangle of threads that frustrates when one relates to oneself. Produced by Alberto De Rossi (Alexia, L’Aura, Mistonocivo) between March and July ’20, “Gira in testa” is the new single by singer-songwriter Bastiano.
”I approach the figure of the singer-songwriter after a long journey as a bass player in some alternative rock bands in the city where I live, Vicenza. Everything was born following the dragging of a musical project that would soon stop. I start writing songs without setting a specific goal, I just had to do it. A few months and I find myself with a few songs in my hands and the desire to share them with someone. Yes, but how? I had no intention of forming a band, at least not at the time. A series of circumstances lead me to meet Alberto De Rossi, guitarist and artistic producer. I don’t take long to make him feel something. The idea was to create worlds where voice and guitar could feel at ease together with synths, arpeggiators and loops. Thus sees the light of the first single “Gira in testa” which anticipates the release of the new EP scheduled for February ’21.”
