BERLIN, SEPTEMBER 2021 – Physical presentations and digital highlights at MBFW at Kraftwerk BerlinThe topics of responsible design, innovation and the significance of international collaboration were placed in the limelight.
As part of MBFW, German and internationally renowned fashion designers – as well as the next generation of ambitious designers – presented their Spring/Summer 2022 collections at Kraftwerk in Berlin from 6-8 September 2021. Over 70 designers and brands took part in the show calendar and introduced their pieces, designs or collections in fashion shows, as group exhibition installations or show case.
The curtains have come down on yet another successful MBFW. We have thoroughly been impressed by an eclectic mix of designers which have all been seamlessly tied together by the free-spirited Berlin energy. Even though very different from each other, looking back, they all seemed like parts of a distinctive and expressive story that was MBFW. All the presentations, installations and talks were shared via live stream. The hybrid event format enabled industry experts and fashion aficionados all over the world to enjoy the MBFW experience.

Fassbender goes on a journey to one of the founders most beloved places: Ibiza. The atmosphere was infused with dear childhood memories of the founders which beautifully translated into the garments.
With a deep respect for our environment and the life within, Fassbender continuously searches for the most exciting innovations to make fashion more sustainable, and ultimately more beautiful. For the SS22 collection, Fassbender also continues to support small environmentally-friendly productions.
Lml Studio created a both visual and auditory experience that has been powered by bold statements and daring silhouettes.
