“Cholita” is a beauty story that celebrates the street Latina style of the 90’s. This vibe of the lip liner, thin eyebrows, etc, has been seen in gang styles and also appropriated by white celebrities. This shoot reclaims this classic look with a twist, empowering young Latinx folks to feel unapologetic in their latinidad. Production made with all Latinx – cast and crew.
