The xylem is the system of vessels in plant tissue that carries water and minerals upwards from the root to other parts and which forms the wood in stems. Transporting xylem sap upwards becomes more difficult as the height of a plant increases and upwards transport of water by xylem is considered to limit the maximum height of trees.
Not only does Xilema represent the urgency to change towards the respect for the diversity and the preservation of our environment, but it is also a fashion celebration and liberation of all our sisters who are out there struggling as time goes on.
To our trans sister who was beaten by police in Milano on May 24th. To our sisters who got kicked out by the police while trying to squat the building where we took the pictures. To our sisters who danced and respected the environment to smash the repression on May 1st. To our sisters in Baronata. To my special friends who are fighting everyday for their lives and still try to do their best to protect minorities.
