LAST CHOV MOVE

“Last chov move” consists of an editorial that is mainly inspired by Spanish working class artists who live in peripheral areas where they don’t feel free to express themselves.

When they finally access the social circles established in art, they feel rejected and lost in an eternal sense of not belonging. The project speaks about who tries to find her own identity, leaving behind the aesthetics that have been imposed on her after first denying and reconciling them.

Aesthetically, we can see dramatized garments of the Spanish chov aesthetic that merge with elements from other styles such as grunge, coquette or goth, materializing the search for one’s own identity.
