ASVOFF Film Festival is delighted to unveil its latest endeavor – the inaugural Artificial Intelligence (AI) Fashion Film Category. It took place during the 15th edition of ASVOFF in Paris, France, this groundbreaking event marks a momentous milestone in the festival’s chronicles.

ASVOFF’s founder and director, Diane Pernet, is pleased to announce a significant milestone in the festival’s history as it has obtained the official homologation from the French Ministry of Culture. This prestigious endorsement acknowledges ASVOFF’s substantial contribution to France’s cultural heritage and its unwavering commitment to the convergence of fashion, style, and beauty in cinema. Delving into the essence of human experiences, enlightening narratives of aesthetics – ASVOFF, since its inception, has metamorphosed into a cultural time capsule transcending boundaries. By commemorating the art of filmmaking, the festival operates as a catalyst for change – a portrayal of our present society.

This moment marks the beginning of an entirely new category, driven by the extraordinary significance of Artificial Intelligence. Pedro firmly believes in the power of AI to unlock new levels of creativity and artistic expression. He is deeply honored to curate this remarkable act of exploration, reflection, and idealization for the future, especially considering the chaotic present the world is currently experiencing.


What sets this category apart as truly innovative is that AI is not only the theme but also an active juror within its own themed category. The involvement of AI goes beyond evaluation; it becomes an integral part of the films themselves. AI contributes to their production, editing, and various creative aspects, marking a significant leap forward in the fusion of technology and artistic expression.

Ced Pakusevskij’s creative vision combined with the power of AI as well the film’s sound design, that played a vital role, resulted in a immersive and mesmerizing cinematic experience. Resulting as the, to this day, first winner of the “Best AI Fashion Film” award.
