Young Querelle is a character inspired by the film Querelle de Brest by Rainer Werner Fassbinder. A film that tells a story of the past, where the protagonist is a man, a sailor, who when lands ashore, discovers a new identity. He enters in a world of uncertainty, sexuality and lost identities. Young Querelle is the result of an exploration of the same feelings but in our contemporary society, where identities blend together in a mix of delicacy, strength, extroversion under a veil of mystery and the natural beauty. The cold blues and the warm orangish tones follow the rollercoaster of emotions felt by the protagonist, first detached from reality and then full in. Young Querelle in a dimension of love, new discoveries and secret feelings ready to be questioned.
