This editorial project is conceived as a contemporary reinterpretation of the early-2000s football (soccer) imagery, filtered through blockcore and blokette aesthetics. Each outfit corresponds to a specific football role. The blockcore aesthetic recalls the popular, urban football culture of the 2000s, while the blokette element introduces a more intimate and feminine contrast.
The layout, inspired by Panini sticker albums, reinforces the idea of collection and belonging: the images function as editorial “stickers,” meant to be read as fragments of a team and of a shared aesthetic. Here, football is presented as a visual and cultural language, deeply connected to collective memory. The result is a visual narrative that merges nostalgia and contemporaneity, transforming 2000s football into an aesthetic archive reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
