FONDAZIONE SOZZANI HOSTED THE FIRST AFRO FASHION SPECIAL SALES

The Afro Fashion Association recently introduced its first Afro Fashion Special Sales event in Milan.

The Afro Fashion Association, an influential force in promoting diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry, introduced a groundbreaking event in Italy and it took place from December 14th to 20th, 2023, at the esteemed Fondazione Sozzani located on Via Tazzoli, 3, where the “Afro Fashion Special Sales” came to life. This exceptional showcase promised to celebrate creativity, diversity, and multiculturalism while providing strong support for emerging talent and fostering growth within the fashion sector.

Featuring the participation of ten designers from diverse backgrounds, the Afro Fashion Special Sales offered a dynamic platform for these innovative individuals to unveil their exceptional creations. Beyond merely highlighting their immense talent, this event provided a rare opportunity for aspiring designers to gain exposure in Milan’s prestigious showrooms and pave their way to market success.

The Afro Fashion Special Sales was not limited to a conventional sales event. Visitors could expect an array of engaging activities such as thought-provoking talks, immersive workshops, and captivating performances. These enriching experiences aim to ignite dialogue and inspire new perspectives on cultural diversity within the contemporary fashion landscape.

About the Afro Fashion Association: Established in Italy in 2015 by Michelle Francine Ngonmo, the Afro Fashion Association is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization led by individuals of Black descent.
