Tania Orellana is a fashion designer and multidisciplinary creative building something more intentional in a fashion world that often moves at dazzling speed — a space where creativity is not only seen, but deeply felt. With a background that bridges fashion design, strategy, innovation, and brand development, she brings a singular perspective to the luxury sector, working across diverse functional teams to shape brands with clarity, depth, and emotional resonance. Her practice is guided by a refined understanding of a brand’s DNA, its consumers, and the shifting codes of contemporary fashion, with a particular sensitivity to future-facing opportunities, market positioning, and cultural relevance.

Passionate about fashion and style, Tania approaches each project as an opportunity to merge aesthetics with meaning, and intuition with strategy. She is especially drawn to the creation of meaningful brand experiences that allow every gesture, image, and concept to remain authentic while speaking to a wider audience. Through collaboration, adaptability, and a forward-thinking vision, she contributes to brands not only as a designer, but as a creative thinker, cultural interpreter, and strategic voice — shaping narratives that are as considered as they are compelling.
With Casa Sillage, Tania extends this multidisciplinary vision into a global platform rooted in connection, storytelling, and artistic exchange. Guided by her international experience, a cultivated sensitivity to beauty, and a long-standing belief that luxury is ultimately about identity and emotion, she envisions Casa Sillage as more than a brand: it is a living home for ideas, collaboration, and culture. Here, creativity becomes experiential — an evolving language that transcends product and enters the realm of atmosphere, narrative, and collective memory.

At the heart of the concept are two distinct yet interconnected branches: The Studio, a creative studio dedicated to the design and production of bespoke experiences for fashion and luxury brands, while also developing curatorial projects, editorials, and artistic collaborations with an international scope, and The Club, an exclusive community of creatives, industry leaders, and individuals united by aligned aesthetics and shared values. Together, they form a vision that is both intimate and expansive — a network designed to inspire meaningful partnerships, foster cross-cultural dialogue, and open new opportunities across Europe, the United States, Mexico, and Latin America, with an ambition that reaches far beyond borders.
IN CONVERSATION WTIH TANIA ORELLANA
Tania, your extensive experience as a fashion designer and the success of your established stores around the world speak volumes about your understanding of the industry. How have these experiences shaped your vision for Casa Sillage, and what led you to create this new platform at this specific time?
Over the years, I’ve lived in different cities and connected with incredible talents from all over the world. Through building my fashion brand, my perception of art, luxury, and human connection expanded in ways I never expected. I realized that what I loved most wasn’t just the physical garment — it was the process. Something that started with me, but never really ended, because it grew into an experience that kept moving, touching more people, connecting stories, and living beyond the piece itself.
What I truly hold close is connection — discovering beauty through other people’s eyes, and how thousands of creations, whether mine, theirs, or anyone’s, can come together and become something bigger, an experience with soul. These connections kept happening so naturally throughout the life of my brand, across borders, that I felt the need to give them intention and a home. That’s how Casa Sillage was born — a desire to turn connection into legacy, to create experiences that feel like art and that carry the essence of luxury: identity, story, and emotion.
The name holds that meaning:
Casa represents belonging, warmth, community — a home for creativity that moves with me.
Sillage is the trail of a fragrance — something intangible yet unforgettable.

Casa Sillage is that: a living home in motion, creating soulful, artful, global experiences that leave a trace.
Having navigated the complexities of the fashion world, what aspects of your journey do you believe will be most instrumental in guiding the development of Casa Sillage’s initiatives and artistic collaborations?
A deep intention and human connection, without a doubt. Throughout my journey, I’ve mastered visual storytelling driven by intention, the story behind every movement and every project. And certainly, curation, not just aesthetic, but how to create beauty that resonates beyond the surface, something you can feel beyond just seeing.

My goal is to connect art with the essence of luxury, which is not exclusivity or quality, but identity, and story. The goal is always the same: to reflect soul through detail and to make people truly live that feeling. And of course, my ability to connect with extraordinary talents and bring them together is what makes Casa Sillage unique. It’s a curated constellation of people and visions, brought to life through collaboration.
You mention a desire to redefine how fashion and art interact. Can you elaborate on how your previous experiences have influenced your approach to curating artistic projects in The Studio of Casa Sillage?
I believe that anything created with true and deep intention is art.
Sometimes the simplest pieces — even ones that look like a child could have made them — become iconic simply because of one thing: the story behind them. Through my journey in fashion, I discovered something that may seem obvious, but really isn’t: not everyone sees or feels things the way I do. Even within the fashion and luxury industries, where I’ve met so many incredible people, not everyone works with the same vision or sensitivity. I learned that my sensitivity wasn’t universal, and that realization shaped everything for me.

For me, every garment I’ve designed has been a work of art — not because of its complexity, but because of the soul behind it. And honestly, it was always hard for me to explain that soul in words or through social media. My way of expressing it was never through talking; it was through creating.
That realization pushed me to create spaces where intention can be lived, not explained — environments and projects where others can truly feel and experience that intention for themselves. And that has been the most fulfilling part of my work: creating experiences that speak louder than words. That’s why we created The Studio — to bring intention into your product, your brand, your story, whether you are still discovering your voice or already aligned with this vision. Because intention builds connection, and connection, when deeply felt, becomes art. Not just something to look at, but something to be lived.
When selecting members for The Club, what specific qualities or experiences are you looking for in creatives? How do you believe these traits will enhance the collaborative environment you aim to cultivate?
At Casa Sillage, defining a member of The Club goes beyond appearance or experience. It’s not about style, fame, your job, or having a big portfolio. What really matters are deeper things, a true artistic sensitivity and an authentic human connection. Members are creative people who bring passion, honesty, and openness. These qualities create a space where creativity flows, ideas grow, and projects become special and meaningful. Collaboration in The Club happens naturally through respect and shared inspiration, making it a place where people, culture, and art can grow.
You plan to bring together a select group of creatives and industry leaders as part of Casa Sillage. What criteria will you use to ensure that the chosen individuals align with your vision and add unique perspectives to the community?
Yes, the leaders of Casa Sillage will definitely grow, especially as we expand internationally. For me, choosing these people is about feeling the energy and connection right away. Besides, they will also meet the level required for each position. In fashion, I’ve worked with all kinds of people, some whose energy lifts you up, and others that drain you. Those experiences taught me to trust my instincts. So when I bring together the leaders of Casa Sillage, I follow that natural vibe, a connection that matches our vision and sparks true collaboration. It’s about building a community where passion, respect, and innovation grow effortlessly.

Reflecting on the global perspective you’ve gained through your established stores, how do you intend to create a sense of inclusivity within Casa Sillage that respects diverse cultural influences while maintaining a cohesive identity?
Inclusion is fundamental because cultural diversity is part of Casa Sillage’s very soul. This is the meaning behind the name itself: I am proudly Mexican, and of course, that shapes my vision, traditions, and customs, but it doesn’t define me 100%. We are humans first, beyond origin or religion, connected by shared interests and passions.
It’s not about homogenizing, but celebrating diversity within a shared framework of values: art, luxury, intention, and connection. Each culture brings richness through different perspectives that enhance our community and creativity. Maintaining a cohesive identity doesn’t mean uniformity, it means harmony that respects and allows space for differences. Casa Sillage is a space where every cultural voice can shine and be heard, creating enriching dialogue. The key is deep respect, open-mindedness, and genuine curiosity, the glue that binds this diversity together.
What legacy do you aspire to build with Casa Sillage, especially in terms of the impact it will have on the future of fashion and creative collaboration on a global scale?
My plan with Casa Sillage is to create a new model of collaboration, connecting talent across disciplines to share and co-create experiences that transcend, that leave a mark, and that inspire everyone who encounters us. I envision Casa Sillage as a catalyst for this movement: a space where creativity is not limited to consumption, but expands into meaningful exchanges, cultural dialogue, and the celebration of evolution itself.
Casa Sillage is, above all, a home for artists and creatives, not necessarily a physical place, but a space of belonging that transcends limits. A space that expands across cultures, geographies, and perspectives, constantly pushing its community toward new encounters, deeper connections, and infinite possibilities.
